 STORYLINE: Spirit Gum is a town in a parallel world where spell craft was made common place by the actions of a Keeper of Magicks called Edicus. Although banished from the Brotherhood for his actions, mankind and other humanoid creatures have reaped numerous benefits, becoming accomplished wizards and doing amazing things. The downside to this growth however, is that every third century or so a rare anomoly of wizard called the Covalent emerges. Wisely, the Keepers of Magicks had splintered spell craft into three groups knowing that humanity could not handle the heady power of all combined disciplines. They were right. Each covalent is born with the inate ability to merge the discplines together as one. Many became mad with power, wreaking enough destruction to bring on long periods of darkness and misery, and strong enough to even kill the Draeli's themselves -- That is, unless stopped... Fastforward to the present, where we are dawning on the age of the emergence of the 20th covalent. The watchers, or guardians, for the Templars of Majiks never know who the covalent may be until the hallmarks start to manifest themselves.
